  1. Dear Captain
Iwould like to convey to you and the members of Royal Portrush my great joy and happiness on your selection to host the 2019 open championship. It is long overdue that my favourite course in the world has once again been given the opportunity to showcase its charm and beauty and may i say sometimes beastly attributes to the golfing world well done to all concerned
    Kind regards

  2. Dear Mr. Beatt,

I´m a fan, from Spain, of your beautiful golf course, in my opinion in the Top 10 in the world. Many thanks for your wonderful blog. It´s very helpful and interesting knowing the activities to maintenance in the golf course. I talk many times with the manager in my home golf course about the maintenance activities and documents published in Royal Portrush. It is a real example of how to do the things right.

Congratulations for the official designation for The Open Championship in 2019!

    Best regards from Madrid,

    David Hernandez-Rubio

    • Dear David,

Thank you for your kind comments it is nice to get some feedback from people who have viewed the site. I plan to keep the pictures coming for the course of our re-construction work and beyond. Very exciting times at the club with a huge amount of work being carried out throughout the courses.
I actually worked in Madrid for just a few days in 2010/11 rebuilding some bunkers at Real Sociedad Hipica. Lovely course and great city!

      All the best,

      Graeme Beatt
